Maternity Pictures in Coppell

A beautiful outdoor location for capturing the beauty of pregnancy.

Last Fall, I photographed this beautiful momma for maternity portraits in Coppell. We went to Grapevine Springs Preserve, where the location is quiet and perfect for a relaxed session.  It has lots of shade because it’s surrounded by tall trees, and beautiful little paths with a big field in the back.  There is a little creek that runs through, and a bridge that crosses it which is perfect for pictures.  It’s a location that I love introducing clients to, because even if they live in the area they might not know of it.  I’ve seen many family picnics at the park, walks with dogs, or just kids running around that needed an open space to play safely.

My client chose a simple black dress for her session to keep the focus on her baby bump. I love the empire waist of this dress, and how the skirt flows so beautifully.  When shopping for a maternity dress for pictures, I recommend my clients always lean towards a dress if they can, because they really show off the bump well.  A maternity session is such a fun way to get pampered before baby arrives.  If you want to step out of your comfort zone a little, ask me about some formal maternity dresses that are absolutely gorgeous!  This momma looked happy, comfortable, and so excited to meet her little one, and she picked the perfect dress for this session.  The final portraits are simple, elegant, and timeless!

For every portrait session with Melinda Wilkinson Photography, clients will receive a gallery of images within a week or two of their session. They get to select their favorites, design a maternity album (what a fun thing to go back through with your little one!), and print wall art for their home.
