Newborn Photography in Dallas

Ahh, newborns. It takes 40 weeks to bring them into this world, and suddenly they’re here and perfect. They smell good, have beautiful and delicate features, and you want to remember everything about them before they grow up. Having newborn pictures taken is the perfect way to celebrate this moment and capture all of the details. 

Newborn photography sessions in Dallas are typically scheduled for when baby is 7-14 days old. We schedule your session based on your due date, and if there are other circumstances (such as a known cesarean, or twins). It’s important to book these as early as possible, as I only take a certain number of newborn sessions each month. I suggest checking in with me around 28-32 weeks in your pregnancy, if not earlier. 

We will work together to select a color palette and incorporate any special items or themes into your session. I typically include a variety of shots – such as with a bucket or bed, on blankets, and family portraits. All of my newborn sessions take place in your Dallas area home, and I bring my cleaned and safely sanitized items to you. Items I include are wraps, outfits, small props, blankets, and hats or headbands. You can rest assured knowing that everything will be taken care of, and you will end up with beautiful images of your newest little one.

I can arrange for a trusted hair and makeup artist to come out to your home and get you ready for the session (not included), as well as bring a maternity gown for you to wear while we photograph your family portraits. Being a new mom can be difficult, but your newborn session will not be.
